The oral cell sampling steps include:

1) Tear the outer packaging of the oral swab, and carefully remove the oral swab (note: the hand should not touch the swab during the entire sampling process).

2) Hold the handle, extend the swab into the left mouth, make the swab head fully contact the mucous membrane on the inside of the left cheek / left and right upper and lower gums. The sub-head fully contacts the oral mucosa and repeats this action for 1 minute.

3) Use the same method to sample the second swab at the mucosa on the right cheek / right upper and lower gums.

4) Put the swab stained with the cells in the mouth in a clean and ventilated place for at least one hour until it is dry, put it back in the collection tube, and complete the sampling. However, the storage of oral swabs is generally sealed in a marked envelope, which is not hygienic enough to easily breed bacteria; and the storage time is short. Therefore, the present invention provides an oral swab DNA preservation solution and a preparation method thereof.
