A 12-channel pipette is an instrument for quantitative transfer of biochemical reagents. When conducting research in analytical testing, a small or trace amount of liquid is generally removed with a pipette. The instrument has reliable liquid dispensing and simple operation. It can be used for laboratory liquid dispensing and drug injection for laboratory animals. It is widely used in biology, chemistry and other fields.
Any instrument that has been used for a long time needs maintenance to improve its service life, and the 12-channel pipette is no exception. Today, the editor will focus on this matter for you.
There are three ways to maintain the 12-channel pipette:
1. Short-term maintenance
Before starting work every day, check the surface of the pipette for dust and smudges, especially pay attention to the connecting part of the nozzle. It is recommended to wipe it with 70% ethanol.
2. Long-term maintenance
In order to ensure the accuracy and accuracy of each 12-channel pipette, it is necessary to regularly debug and calibrate the instrument distribution. The 12-channel pipette calibration software can complete the planning, implementation and data recording of pipette calibration inspections.

3. To clean the 12-channel pipette:
(Proceed as follows)
(1) First, disassemble the pipette according to the instructions.
(2) Check and wipe the pipette to remove dust and stains.
(3) When wiping, only 70% ethanol can be used for wiping, and the nozzle connector and ejector can be soaked in ethanol overnight.
(4) The piston, O-ring and spring need to be coated with silicone oil.
(5) is also the last step, install all the disassembled pipette parts, and restore the pipette.
Note: After cleaning, the pipette needs to be recalibrated.
