Sharps Box Storage Requirements
1. The sharps box should be placed in a place that is easy to operate and within reach (132--142 cm from the ground, 28--48 cm from the operator's body), and should not be placed on the ground or the lower layer of the car;
2. The material of the sharps box should meet the requirements of anti-puncture and anti-leakage, and cover the lid before use.
3. The contents of the sharps box should not exceed 3/4 of the marked capacity. When it reaches 3/4 full, it should be replaced immediately, and an effective sealing method should be used, that is, the packaging or container is tightly sealed.
4. When separating the needle from the syringe barrel, it should be separated in the wedge-shaped cap on the cap, and the used or exposed needle should not be disassembled or separated with bare hands.
5. Transport and store sharps containers in a secure, secure area until processing is complete.
6. Before shipping infectious sharps containers, make sure they are sealed.
