The precautions for specimen collection are as follows:
1. When collecting specimens, use a clean bamboo stick or the sampling device on the stool cup to select stool containing mucus, pus and blood and other pathological components, and the amount should be at least the size of a finger. Put it in the stool cup. Do not directly scrape the stool on the diaper .
2. Fresh specimens should be taken, no urine, no disinfectants and sewage, so as not to destroy the ingredients, cause the death of pathogenic bacteria and contaminate saprophytic protozoa.
3. After the specimen is collected, cover the cup lid and send it for inspection immediately, no more than 2 hours, otherwise the cell components in the feces may be decomposed and destroyed due to the influence of digestive enzymes.
4. When the stool cup is not in use, it should be placed in a dry and dark place. The lid of the cup cannot be opened at will, so as to avoid contamination and affect the accuracy of the results.
