1. The head nurse of each department manages the disposable consumables of each department.
2. Disposable syringes and infusion sets used by patients should be strictly sterile, with one needle and one syringe tube per person to prevent cross infection.
3. The validity period should be checked frequently. Expired disposable items should be reported to the comprehensive warehouse in time for processing. Their use is prohibited.
4. The used disposable syringes, infusion sets and needles must be soaked in chlorine-containing disinfectant and destroyed.
5. When soaking the syringe and infusion set, the needle must be soaked separately.
6. The liquid level of the disinfectant must be higher than the liquid level of the soaked items.
7. Injected syringes and infusion sets should be handed over to the supply room for destruction and registration.
