When many small partners first came into contact with cells, they knew nothing about the experimental reagent consumables required for cell culture, and they knew very little through the literature.
cell culture
Cell Culture Basic Reagents
(1) Medium: Generally, it is prepared by itself with incomplete medium + 10% FBS (fetal bovine serum), and sometimes double antibodies are added to prevent cell infection. The specific medium type is selected according to the cell type you are raising.
(2) Trypsin: referred to as trypsin, used to digest cells. Generally, the digestion time is 1-2 minutes. If the time is too short, the cells will not be digested completely. If the time is too long, the cells will be overdigested and damaged.
(3) Commonly used reagents: alcohol, PBS buffer.
Cell Culture Basic Consumables
(1) Cell culture container: culture bottle 25, 50, 250ml, etc. Petri dish: 10cm, 6cm, etc. Some will use culture bottles or petri dishes, and the corresponding capacity will be selected according to the situation.
Cell Culture Consumables
(2) Consumables: straws, pipettes, various pipettes and tips, centrifuge tubes, parafilm, etc.
Cell Freezing Reagents and Consumables
(1) Cryopreservation solution: generally composed of 10% DMSO+FBS+medium, the ratio of FBS and medium depends on the cell type, the more precious cells generally use 90% FBS, and ordinary cells can use 50% FBS+40% culture medium to prepare.
(2) General reagents for cell culture such as trypsin.
(3) Freezing tubes, centrifuge tubes, centrifuges, straws, pipette tips, microscopes, freezing boxes, refrigerators, liquid nitrogen tanks, etc.
