The laryngeal mask includes an inflatable capsule, a connecting catheter, a connector, and a catheter for inflating the capsule. It can be divided into straight type and pre-bending type. Select the appropriate size of laryngeal mask according to the patient's weight. A 20-40ml syringe (for inflating the capsule), lubricant and tape should be prepared before placing.

According TO ITS OWN CHARACTERISTICS AND uses, the LARYNgeal mask can be divided into four categories: ORDINARY laryngeal mask (for maintaining spontaneous breathing during anesthesia), enhanced laryngeal mask (for controlling breathing), intubated laryngeal mask (for assisting endotracheal intubation) and double-lumen laryngeal mask.
