Indwelling Needle Operation Process

The operation process of the indwelling needle is similar to that of normal venipuncture infusion. When the indwelling needle is punctured and infused, operations such as fluid dispensing, blood vessel selection, disinfection and puncture are also required. It's just that the indwelling needle is composed of a double-layer trocar. After the puncture is completed and the blood is returned, the needle core is pulled out, and then the indwelling needle is fixed. During infusion, connect the connector end of the indwelling needle to the needle of the infusion tube. That is, after inserting the needle of the infusion tube into the connector end of the indwelling needle, the switch of the infusion set is turned on, and the infusion can be carried out. After the infusion is completed, directly pull out the needle of the infusion set from the end of the indwelling needle connector, and then inject heparin into the indwelling needle to seal the tube. In the next infusion, the needle of the infusion set is also directly inserted, and the end of the indwelling needle connector can be used for infusion. In this way, it is very convenient to perform multiple infusions, and the complicated procedure of repeated blood vessel puncture is omitted.
