In our biological experiments, we often use PCR eight-tube centrifuge tubes, but centrifuge tubes can be divided into high-speed centrifuge tubes and ordinary centrifuge tubes. What is the difference between these two centrifuge tubes when they are used?
1. High-speed PCR eight-tube centrifuge tube
1. Do not use without training and evaluation.
2. Select suitable rotor and speed, do not use.
3. Choose a suitable temperature, usually 4°C, not lower than the organic solvent to avoid freezing and damage to the centrifuge tube and rotor.
4. Before using the rotor, wipe the tube with the hole rod and carefully inspect the bottom of the hole for cracks and white spots. If so, turn around and scrap.
5. The amount of solution filled into the centrifuge tube must be appropriate. The stainless steel tube has no cover and can only fit 2/3. Plastic tubes can be attached to the shoulders. The lid must be closed and no leaks allowed. Empty tubes can be deformed by centrifugation. The use of organic solvents in plastic tubes must comply with regulations.
6. Centrifuge tubes must be placed in pairs and must be tightly balanced with a deviation of <0.1g.
7. No turn is allowed without turning. To handle the rotor, the handle must be used to prevent the rotor from slipping. Turn the headlight and hold it steady. When turning the handle, hold the handle with your hand and turn your head. The spin head cap should be tightly closed and the cap should not allow centrifugation.
8. Do not open the lid during centrifugation. Centrifuges are not supported. If the sound and vibration are abnormal, stop immediately.
9. After using the rotor, it must be removed in time and dried in the rotor chamber, and the tube hole should be carefully cleaned with a cleaning rod. If the solution spills, you must clean it, wipe the condensation from the rotor chamber, and open the door to dry the rotor chamber.
10. The centrifuge must be retained and must be registered after use.
2. Ordinary eight-tube centrifuge tube
1. Before leaving the centrifuge, carefully inspect each hole in the rotor for foreign objects.
2. The centrifuge tube must be carefully equilibrated.
3. If the cab is not clean, seal the tube with plastic film.
4. Must start slowly and then accelerate.
5. Do not open the lid during centrifugation.
6. Do not use the handbrake.
