1. Material
At present, the suction heads on the market are basically made of polypropylene plastic (a colorless and transparent plastic with high chemical inertness and a wide temperature range). The more additives, the higher the probability of unwelcome chemical reactions during pipetting, but no additives have higher requirements on the production process, which few manufacturers can achieve.

3. Biological contamination

To ensure that there is no biological contamination, steps such as gamma ray treatment are required. Therefore, it is almost impossible for users to process ordinary tips into non-biologically contaminated tips by themselves, and the purchased non-biologically contaminated boxed tips must provide corresponding certificates, indicating the test data of the corresponding items.
