【Principle of Inspection】
The osmotic pressure maintaining agent contained in the preservation solution maintains the isotonic environment, protects the cells, and further protects the viruses living in the cells. The contained pH buffering agent ensures that the internal environment of the preservation solution is not affected by internal and external factors and causes severe pH fluctuations within a certain range, and provides a stable and suitable pH external environment for the virus in the preservation solution. The contained stabilizer can increase the survival time and infectivity of the virus in the preservation solution when the virus exists independently. The inhibitor can inhibit the viability of non-viral microorganisms such as bacteria in the sample to ensure that the viability of the virus in the sample is basically free from contamination. The adverse effects of bacteria. The contained nutrients provide the basic nitrogen source, carbon source or other nutritional factors necessary for the survival of the virus or parasitic cells. The nutritional vitality necessary to maintain the virus or parasitic cells is impaired, which is also to maintain the viability of the virus in the sample. need. The indicator contained in the preservation solution can be an acid-base indicator, and the pH value of the discolored area is 6.8 (yellow) to 8.0 (purple).
【Main composition】
It is composed of sampling tube, flocking swab, preservation solution, etc.
[Storage conditions and validity period]
Storage conditions: normal temperature, protected from light. Period of validity: 12 months
Note: After the sample is built in the sampling tube, it generally needs to be stored and transported at 2-8°C.
【Sample requirements】
The specimens should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 3 working days after collection, and the storage temperature should be 2-8℃;
If it cannot be delivered to the laboratory within 72 hours, it should be stored at -70°C or below, and repeated freezing and thawing of the specimen should be avoided.
【Instructions】
1. According to sampling requirements, collect samples with sampling swabs.
2. Place the sampling swab after collecting the sample into the sampling tube.
3. Break the swab at the fragile cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail.
4. Tighten the sampling tube cover.
5. Mark the information as required on the label of the sampling tube.
6. The specimen should be transported to an inspection laboratory with inspection capability within 3 working days after collection.
The storage temperature is 2-8°C; if it is not delivered to the laboratory within 72 hours, it should be stored at -70°C or below, and repeated freezing and thawing of specimens should be avoided.
7. Specific sampling methods can refer to the following:
1) Pharyngeal swab specimen: Use a special sampling swab to wipe the back wall of the pharynx and the tonsils on both sides with moderate force.
Avoid touching the tongue; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling solution, break the swab at the fragile cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail. (Applicable to sampling of this product)
2) Nasal swab specimen: use a special sampling swab, gently insert the swab head into the nasal palate in the nasal passage, and stay the piece
Slowly rotate and exit after engraving; quickly immerse the swab head in the sampling liquid, break the swab at the fragile cut-off point of the sampling swab rod, and discard the tail. (Applicable to sampling of this product)
Note: The product is equipped with a single sampling swab
[Limitations of the test method]
This product is only used for the transportation and storage of live virus samples.
【Precautions】
1. It is forbidden to directly contact the person being collected with the preservation solution that has been placed in the virus sample.
2. It is forbidden to sample the swab after soaking the swab with the preservation solution.
3. This product is a disposable product and is only used for the collection, transportation and storage of clinically collected virus specimens.
Do not use it beyond the intended use.
4. The product must not be used after the expiry date or the product packaging is damaged.
5. When collecting virus specimens, professionals should strictly follow the sampling procedures; when specimens are tested,
It should be operated in a laboratory that meets the safety level.
6. After the specimens are collected, they should be transported to the corresponding laboratory within 3 working days, and the storage temperature should be 2~8℃; if they cannot be sent to the laboratory within 72 hours, they should be stored at -70℃ or below, and the specimens should be avoided Repeated freezing and thawing.
